Hmm, I started thinking about this. Now I have a headache...

I've been carrying a stereo camera for about thirteen years, shooting on
business trips from Calgary to Chicago to Atlanta and family vacations at
some of the busiest tourist attractions and theme parks along the east
coast, including three week-long visits to Disney World.

(I admit that when I'm in public I often flaunt it a bit, strolling along
with my front flap open, :--) showing off the twin aluminum barrels of the
camera, daring, hoping for a challenge, a question, a comment or perhaps
even a "Hail, fellow! Well met!". I'm also always checking other people's
cameras for paired lenses.

Over the years I've only had a dozen or so comments or conversations
regarding the camera while parading it around, with some people who knew
what it was ("Hey, stereo!") and some who wanted to know ("Huh? Stereo?").

I have never bumped into nor seen another random human carrying or using a
stereo camera outside of stereo events or swap meets.

Not once, ever.

Best regards,
Bill Davis
