Harry Poster asks:

>And, how come when I called to make reservations
>on Friday, the hotel said they were booked up-no
>regular rooms and no NSA rooms left??? I guess
>the NSA didn't reserve enough rooms to accommodate
>all of those customers (and dealers) hoping to
>make it...and it's still only May...

                                     >Harry Poster

Dunno if this is applicable, but for NSA '96 the hotel's *national*
reservation service (800 number) didn't know anything about "NSA rooms"
and hence if you called that number they told you they had no rooms
available for NSA. Calling the hotel directly (local number) and
speaking with the desk clerk got you fixed right up. I posted that
local number here on P-3D and in an update for Stereo World.

That's about the extent of my involvement with rooms at NSA '96. Never
knew what the target number was, never found out if we reached it.
Kind of lost interest in the whole damn convention about midday
Saturday and started plotting murder instead.... Thank Peter Palmquist
and Andy Griscom for saving a life that day.

Didn't Larry Moor (or was it Bill Moll?) recently post that NSA had
increased the number of rooms from 490 up to 750?

Best regards,
Bill Davis
