P3D Finding articles in one's local copy of archives (fast easy and cheap)

        I've tried yet another method that seems to work really
well and is both FREE and easy to use.

        Ever used the "Alta Vista" web search engine?  Well
you can run the same search engine on a Win95 or a Windows NT 
machine.

I downloaded it over the weekend and tried it. 

It "finds" things quite quickly, and in the same "form" as the 
Alta Vista Web search engine.  In fact, you use your web brower
to use it.

        Just a thought.

P.S. - On a slow modem, it may take a while to download, but so far
       it's worth it (okay okay it didn't take me long to download
       it, but even if it did, I'd still think it worth it).  It also 
       indexes acrobat files, and just about any word processing file.
       The list is online and is very large.
