P3D Re: Peanut Slave

|I''m confulsed too. I just bought one from Adorama, and it doesn't
|appear to plug in to my V. 285. Figuring I'd got a different model, I
|ordered a second one from a local camera store. The package says 'plugs
|directly into a Vivitar 283/285', only it _doesn't_! With a short
|Vivitar PC to Vivitar adapter cord, it works fine. Still, it's puzzling.

Just for clarification's sake - what does the connector on the Vivitar look like? Is it
PC (nice & confusing with "personal computers" and "politically correct", eh?).

Or does it look like a standard two prong wall plug (I have one of those - it's amazing to
me that the industry did that!). That's what my Honeywell Strobonar Pressmaster 880
has (the two prong connector).

Or is is something else?
