I'm glad some one else thought that. When I saw 'Across The Sea Of Time'
last year I got exactly the same effect. There are some fast pans in that
film, which looked *horrible*. I'd assumed that the two views were shot
simultaneously, where the shutter glasses were showing us left-right-left.
Does anyone know if the straight polarised presentations are immune to
this problem?
When asked my opinions by one of the marketing suits near the exit (the
Trocadero had only just opened the Imax theatre) I said I thought a higher
frame rate was needed. The pretty lady said, "Y' wha?"
I did also see some ghosting however. Maybe the batteries in my headset
were on their last legs. I didn't complain though, not wanting to sound
too discouraging.
Also on the subject of the Troc., has anyone successfully connected to
their web site? Damn thing never answers me.
