P3D Stereophoto Clubs in Sacramento?
- From: "Johnson, Stuart" <SLJ4@xxxxxxx>

I was curious to know if any Stereophoto clubs
exist in or near the Sacramento California area.... I know
there are a few active stereo-enthusiasts around here
because the shop-keepers tell me about them as I visit
the various antique shops around the region. Any clues?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the last two years of photographing the region
I have met many people who KNEW what I was actually
doing with both camera's, but unfortunately, only an
occaisional person that remembers shooting with stereo
30, 40, 50 years ago. However, the INTEREST in what I
do with my twin camera's is very noticeable. I too get a
little exasperated explaining things (it takes a while).
One of the four I remember was working for the Air Force
to develop the large prints produced by the rigs set up in
planes that flew over Russia, & Asia. He worked aboard
the Enterprise. He said they used to LOVE looking
at the film (tons of it) constantly shot. They would observe
much detail about places in cities, etc.

One last thing.... A gentleman from Washington
State inquired to me regarding information on the GOLD
COUNTRY regions here in California. I discovered that my
AOL E-Mail DELETES after I read it and lost his address!
-So, if you are reading this, -I'd like to send to you the book
I mentioned, but I need your ADDRESS (again!)
