It appears that the FED is the only reasonably priced alternative.

Through the years I have seen wonderful stereo pictures in Realist format.
Many of them are travel and scenic photographs.  For example, the slide
of the year and the 4 HM's in our club this year were taken with a
Realist camera.  All HMs were scenics/nature photographs.  The slide of
the year was a close-up through a store window.

If you feel limited or getting tired of the Realist I recommend single/twin 
SLR(s).  You get your 7p (and more) and great flexibility.  But you add
considerable weight.  My SLRs supplement my Realist.

PS.  One 7p alternative not mentioned is a modified (7p) Realist.  Check
