P3D Kodak automated mounting?

I think the confusion here is due to the fact that Kodak's mounting prior
to 
discontinuation in 1986 WAS automated to some extent.  At that time, Kodak
got rid of all the machines (sold? scrapped?) except for one which was
donated
to the PSA.  What methods they use now are unknown to me, but I wouldn't be
surprised if they were using scissors and hand mounting.  Based on the
reports
I've gotten from the Detroit Stereographic Society membership and others
here
on the net, I definately would not expect much from Kodak's stereo mounting
service.
