P3D Re: Book recommendation & Vegas

When I was in the same situation, I read and enjoyed Charl Chipman's, Basic
Photography (I think this is the correct title, I must have lent it to 
someone because I cannot find it... all the books in my library are books 
I have borrowed from others :-)) HPBooks is the publisher.

You mean Dalia Miller's basement? :-)  Not to mention all the interesting
pictures you can take... I went two summers ago and had a good time plus
came back with lots of good stereo pictures.
