Actually archers use 3(D) fingers to draw the bow.. 1 above the nock (the notch 
at the end of the arrow that the bow string goes in) and 2 below. I used to practice 
archery years ago (always preferred field archery to target) and keep meaning to
get back into it but can never find the time.  I was once on a shoot with a chap who 
used a longbow..  I couldn't even draw the thing half way (even with 4 fingers),
it was like a broom handle!

On a 3D related note.. someone posted that there are no MF projectors. I suspect 
what they meant to say is that there are no commercially available (even second 
hand) projectors. At our local Third Dimension Scociety, Ken Smith, the organisor 
has built his own stereo medium format projector (and sells kits to build your own) 
that he uses to show his own MF nudes !
