Andrea Blair wants to use a General Electric Exposure Meter Type PR-2...
asks if anyone help her or at least point me in the right direction...

I love classic cameras and equipment and feel that they can help you
achieve results which modern equipment cannot. However, this is one area
where I discourage folks from going classic.

Old selenium and even CdS light meters cannot come close to the accuracy
and range of modern equipment and it is not uncommon for them to be
non-linear, suffer from memory effects, provide a poorly defined
metering area, or just be off calibration by several stops. When
shooting chromes, a half a stop makes a clear and visible difference.

If you are going to meter and you have taken the time and trouble to
understand the type of metering you are going and how to best make use
of it, then you owe it to yourself to get a good, sensitive modern meter
and get a real handle on how much light you are dealing with so you can
best place it within the exposure range of the emulsion. Borrow a good
modern meter and you will see what I mean...
