To my very favorite forum, Photo-3d:

I am attempting one more time to write to you from Pacbell.net.  This
message is actually a test, because my messages to you have not been
getting through, and Bob Wier is trying to help me figure out what is
wrong.

Meanwhile, if I do get through, I just want to say that I have been
reading this digest every day, and I appreciate all the KNOWLEDGE I get
from each and every one of you!!!!!!
