Hi Brian,

It's a tricky thing to claim to be first in anything with 3-D. You are
doing a wonderful thing at your school whether you are first at it or not.
Especially since your instruction is comprehensive about many aspects of
stereography and is an annual class. Here are some other schools who have
used 3-D in yearbooks with students producing 3-D photography using stereo
cameras:

1988 Hollywood High yearbook - many anaglyphic 3-D photos printed in book
and shot by students with Yearbook Instructor Daryll Medeen's Stereo
Realist camera.
1989 Kakiat Jr. HS, Spring Valley, NY- Yearbook titled "Totem Pole" has
hologram on cover and anaglyph school photos inside.
1990 Golden West High School, Visalia, CA - Nimslo Lenticular 3-D
photocover and anaglyph photos on the inside.
1995 Sierramont Middle School, San Jose, CA - Anaglyph student cartoon art
on cover.

There are several other High Schools which have used anaglyph student art
in their books. And other schools across the nation have made independent
attempts with 3-D in yearbooks. So, it's impossible to provide a
definitive answer at this point as to how many schools at any level have
integrated stereography into curricula but there may be quite a few.

Regardless, keep up the great work you are doing. It's timely and important.

All Good Wishes,
