I just received my Achromat II. It is just what I was looking for.

I love my Freeviewer's Assistant. It is the smallest quality viewing device
I have. But, it can be difficult to explain its use to others on the fly.
(Even though only one eye looks through the viewer, you have to open both
eyes to see stereo. And so on...)

The Achromat II has the quality of a good Holmes viewer (at least), but is
compact and easy to use. The craftsmanship is outstanding. This is now my
viewer of choice for sharing views with others on the road, and probably
for perusing my own views at home.
