Notes from the Beginners' Corner:

The most useful things I have come across since beginning stereo
photography a couple of years ago are (in no particular order and
excluding cameras) -

     - J. Ferwerda's book "The World of 3D" (especially the
       explanations of the stereo window).
     - A. Girling's book "Stereoscopic Drawing" (to understand the
       geometry).
     - Dr. T's version of the Sunny 16 Table (recently re-posted).
     - Dr. T's explanation of how to load the Realist.
     - Reel 3D.
     - Dr. T's light leak diagnosis & cure for the Realist.
     - The 1-in-30 "rule".
     - The View Magic over-under viewer.
     - The Red-Button Viewer.
     - The Harold Baize "Modified RBT" quick-mounting method
explained beautifully at the kiewa Valley Stereo web site.

For a beginner on a budget, this has made a pretty good starter kit of
resources, IMHO.

Any additions, substitutions, contradictions?

Bruce Springsteen.
