hi phil!    i've not tried this, but have some ideas about how it might
work!  lay a finely frosted glass or plastic (velum) against the scanner 
surface to give the image something to show up on!  you may have a
problem with a hot spot from the enlarger lamp?? let us know how it
turns out!!!

i'm reading saturdays list this monday evening!!   now i'll get to read
what the rest of you thought about this idea!!!
