I just had this wild idea.... Maybe we should supply the projectors with
a rheostat with adjustable light output.  That way, if the slide is bit
overexposed we can turn the projector light a bit down.  Or if it is dark,
then we can turn up the lamps at full power.  That would be great for
a beginner who has not mastered exposure yet!  

I remember John Dukes said when he has a slide with ghosting he turns
the room lights a bit higher and that helps.... Maybe that's a good
idea for a club too...

Too bad there are no controls to make fuzzy pictures look sharp again.

Perhaps we can alter the composition a bit?  If there is too much sky
we can have a sliding curtain, crop the top? 

If you think about it, these ideas make as much sense as adjusting the
alignment of the projector for misaligned slides...

Am I beating a dead horse?  I can go on with this theme for ever!
