P3D TDC 716 and 7P

I am interested in hearing from club members whose clubs use the TDC 716
projector at meetings.  

What are you doing about the increasing 
use of 7P mounted images?  Are you living with the cutoff by the
projector or have you had the carriers modified and by whom?  How
difficult is this procedure? Can anyone with a Dremel tool do it? How
many surfaces must be ground?
