Since this thread started with my note on Sell 3D, maybe its time I stepped
in here.
What I stated was:

Yes, I have converted one myself to full frame use. The results from the
original lenses were too poor to go beyond the testing stage. I have the

The 16 or 17P advance definitely has possibilities, but for a quality
conversion you would have to replace the entire shutter/lens assembly with a
new one.
PS I do not do these and would rather not delve into the actual step-by-step
process, but for $30 it was one hack of a deal for the experimenter.
