P3D Cutting VM without the VM Cutter

For what it is worth, I understand that the Minox Cutter for dealing with
Minox format slides works well as a View Master cutter. It is a hinged
thing with a magnifier to help place the film accurately for cutting. I
also understand that the older version of the Minox Cutter is better made
and can be adjusted slightly so it fits the VM size. I do not know if this
is true...I remember the cutter but not much else about it.

The only problem would be that it is designed for Minox and has to be
modified so a 35MM strip fits the unit. In normal use, a strip of Minox
film fits into a channel so the cut can be accurately made. Just a thought.
