P3D Archambault remembered

At the '91 ISU in Paris Noel Archambault gave a fascinating talk about
filming the first 3D-IMAX,"The Last Buffalo", and the adventures of
designing the two camera monster and doing things with it like shooting
while floating down rapids in a river in a rubber raft. His program was
illustrated with shots he took with a stereo camera on site. Afterwards a
handfull of us met with him and talked more about IMAX,stereo,and his next
project which was to be one of the several crews who were to shoot the
Rolling Stones in IMAX later that year. He passed around several pairs of
IMAX left/right chips from "Buffalo" which were easy to free-view. An all
around good guy who will be missed by many who never even met him.
