P3D Re: Minox Cutters

VVI have not his experience, and have never seen a
Minox cutter that is adjustable to VM size. I wonder why Minox would make
such an instrument (I wish they had). Their film is nominally 9.5 mm wide
(in reality even less); the picture area normally 8x11 millimeters.


The Minox cutters I have seen are adjustable, but not designed to be
adjustable. I believe the 'adjustments' can be made not because they are
designed that way, but rather, as a part of the assembly process. Perhaps
the word adjustable is not entirely accurate, just  happenstance. I have
not seen to many of these cutters, even though we used to sell them when we
dealt in Minox. I should have took more notice of these units.
