As to the label question...I use 1"x2 5/6" clear Avery 5660. I use the the long way
and wrap the label under the slide to the back. That way I don't have to heat seal
or tape shut the mount. I also have a logo and the word "BACK" on the part that
goes on the back of the slide.

Lately, I've been using plastic tru-mounts which I was lucky enough to find at a
camera store in LA. The have a little window that you can slide a small square of
paper into, thus not needing any adhesive at all.
