Dear 3D Folks,

It's been years since I have taken any significant number of slides.
That's about the change since in two weeks I'll be off to Alaska and
want to take a *lot* of stereo slides!! :-)

I know that I will taking a lot of my beloved Kodachrome 25 with me, I
certainly hope that film is still as good as it always has been. But I
also want to bring something faster as well. In the past I wasn't
thrilled with K64. The grain wasn't bad, but the color saturation
wasn't that good. But I don't know if it has improved recently. And
now I see that there is a K200 as well. Does anybody have recent
experience with these films? Or is there some other slide film that
    you are particularly fond of?

Also, on the "do not mount" issue. A long time ago I didn't have any
problem with Kodak in Fair Lawn NJ where this was concerned, but after
reading some of the postings from a while back, I think I will take
precautions. I don't want to re-start that thread, but I do have one
question. It sounded like people were putting the label around the
film cassette. Wouldn't this make it difficult for the technician to
determine the film type? Lord knows I don't want to piss off somebody
who is about to process my film! :-)

If you wouldn't mind, please CC me as well as the list. I have been
having a devil of a time keeping up with the digests lately. I'm
thinking of printing off my backlog to read on the plane. :-T

                                                        Later...BC
