It was quite a load, and I'm taking pills and ice-packs because of it.:)
Yes both cameras would eventually fire, but my concern was that the
motion of the first camera would cause the second camera's image to be
slightly blurry.  I haven't mounted the pictures so I don't know if that
is the case.  

My thought with the 50mm lenses is that they will make closer to ortho
images with the Kodaslide viewer I have.  I did use the zoom lenses to
take pictures of far away rock faces and crags.  I was hoping to use
them to take close ups of the mountain goats, but they came within 5
feet of me anyway, so the Realist worked OK.  

I did enjoy the hike, and I have a load of RBT mounts on their way so I
can mount them for projection.  I used Velvia, and that was a good speed
film for all the snow and sunshine we had the first 5 days.  I usaed ASA
400 print film in my Realist, on the last day, for the rain.
