Hi All,

This month's Practical Photography (UK) has an item on a collection of
print pairs being produced. It consists of 10 'Victorian Themed' glamour
photos for 39.50 pounds. Apparently traction engine and seaside postcard
sets are planned for the future. It seems the guy thinks old subjects
suit the 'old technique.' Quite.

If you're interested the address is:-

"And now for something completely different."

I noticed a 3D reference in a pop video recently. It was 'Deeper
Underground' by Jamiroquai. Who he? A prat in a silly hat trying to be
Stevie Wonder.

Anyroadup, the video started with a theatre full of people watching a
disater film through cardboard funnyglasses. Then the monster's foot
really does burst through the screen, rapidly followed by floods, burning
cars, crashing helicopters, you name it. Nice piece of filming I thought,
and with a bit of luck the parents (or grandparents) of the guy's fans
will explain about seeing 3D films in the eighties (or 50s). Hopefully
they won't mention Jaws 3D. ;-)

Shame about the soundtrack though.

Right, I'm off to write to Practical Photography and encourage some more
stereoscopic coverage.

Dave Spacey
