P3D Slide Duping

I am only just toying with the idea of doing my own duping at this 
point, but I am gathering information to help when I'm ready. I seem to 
remember someone at some point telling me about using your projector and 
a macro lens. Put the image in the projector (without the projector 
lens) and shoot *into* the projector hole where the lens usually is. The 
projector lamp is your light source. Has anybody tried this? Can anyone 
expand on this?
