P3D Viewmaster Flash

I just bought a View-Master flash and was impressed with the way it
works. For those who have not seen one, you set a dial on the flash to
the correct Guide number (as obtained from the box of flash bulbs,
depending on the ASA of the type of film used) and then you use the range
finder on the flash to find out what f/stop will properly expose the main
subject you are "focusing" on (the view_master camera is fixed focus).
There are also extra lines on the dial which give you different f/stops
for those subjects that are especially dark or especially light.

I also like the completely variable shutter speed on the Camera itself
(the setting for flash sync is 1/25 though).

I was noticing that there are holes on the View-master flash for adding
additional flashes. Would it be possible to wire up a hot-shoe to these
holes? I know (from the add for the nifty flash adapter attachment on
Dalia's web site) that it would be flash synced at all speeds. Then I
could use my Vivitar 283 with it.
