P3D VR Surfer Improvement Tip

One thing I didn't like about the VR Surfer glasses (I am not
complaining, at that price they are an incredible deal and worth
it) is the plastic tinted dome-like front had quite a few
distortions, which wasn't so bad for watching 3-D on a television
set but was objectionable for computer monitor use.

If your glasses have these distortions (stresses in the plastic
during molding), what I did was take the dome off (is clipped on)
and traced out the LCS on the glasses onto the dome. Then I got
my trusty dremel and cut two square holes into the dome. A bit of
filing and sanding and back they went. Now it is much improved
and the flicker is not appreciably more if at all. In the future
I'll put clear glass in front to protect them from dust.

Gabriel
