This is precisely the reason I do not process my print film at the local
drug/department/grocery stores for my processing. The local drug stores
usually have their equipment out in full view so I've watched the 16-18
year-olds operating it. Only once have I ever seen anyone use gloves.
On numerous occasions I have seen them use their bare hands. I like to use
semi-pro or pro labs that have a regular staff of technicians on hand.
I get much better and consistant results, even though it may cost me
2-3 times the price for developing.
