Hello all,
I have been using a Techo-nimslo for about 2 years. I TOTALLY LOVE
IT! I use it with the 6 inch and 12 inch adapters, and have gotten
increadible responses from people after viewing the slides. It is the
least expesive and easiest route to taking macro stereo images of
moving subjects. If you just want to take still life macro stereo
then I recomend a slide bar and a good SLR with a macro lense. If any
one on this list saw my slide show at last years NSA they can tell you
how sharp the macro images were (like the one a guy brushing his
teeth). The only real problem with it is that to get a decent depth
of field you need to shoot your pictures in bright sunlight.
As far as Bob (radio guy) Stern and his experiments with a V-M flash
adapter:
Glad to see you are inventing!! Do you know if any of these
experiments would work with the TDC Vivid? I just got one, and it is
designed almost exactly like the V-M personal, in fact it was designed
by the same person. If you could be sure that your invention wouldn't
blow up my flash, I would be happy to try it out on my TDC Vivid. :)
