P3D Yet another bio

My 3-D life story:

Another 1952 born 3-D nut, it seems to be the modal
birth year here. I always loved 3-D, from Tru-View
and comics, to View-Master. I went to a one room
school house in rural Michigan where I spent hours
looking at Keystone views. I missed the 1954 3-D
movie boom, but was very moved by "The Mask". In my
teens I collected lenticulars and 3-D comics. I saw
the "Stewardesses" when I as eighteen. I bought the
occasional hologram and anaglyphic comic or magazine
until 1984, when I bought the book "Amazing 3-D" and
became aware of the existence of Realist format cameras.
In 1988, while writing my dissertation, I bought my first
stereo camera, a Kodak.

Today I have three working Kodaks, a Realist 3.5, Realist 45,
FED Stereo, TDC Vivid, TDC Colorist I, Delta, two Nimslos,
Loreo, twinned Pentax P-30s, and a hacked Argus C-3 stereo.
The FED and the Realist 45 see the most use. I also have three
hand viewers, a TDC 116, and a hacked Argus stereo projector.
I'll spare you the list of video and computer 3-D stuff! I
currently maintain two 3-D web galleries (Burning Man 3-D and
the Oakland Camera Club).

Harolddd.
