Actually, I've found a couple of fat rubber bands work quite well. They
hold the cameras together and then separate easily for processing. I
also have an "L" shaped brace I made from two sections of 1x2 that I've
attached disposables to, again with rubber bands, to make a side-by-side
disposable 3D rig. Just remember to mark each camera with "L" or "R"
and then mark the processing envelope the same way.
