I have very clear memories of being blown away by View-Master images as a
child, and specifically by the depth. That's what got me interested in the
first place. One of the demo reels I had showed two images side by side
... one mono and black and white, and the other stereo and in color. The
caption read "Stereo and color makes pictures come to life." The stereo
effect was very obvious.
