P3D Realist Looks

Jim C said "Definitely; it has character. Most modern cameras have
about as much character as most modern cars." I agree. In the same way
that modern "processed cheese food" compares to an honest hunk of
cheddar, cut from wheel. Or a slice of "modern white bread" versus a
hand-made crusty loaf of real bread.

In my humble opinion, I consider the Realist a pretty good looking piece
of work. I may not actually put the Realist right in there with other
classic works from the 40's and 50's, like my Loewy-designed
Hallicrafters shortwave radio (with black crinkle-paint finish), or (not
my) Gibson Flying V guitars, etc, etc, that are really damn stylish, but
it's nice, in it's own honest, brick-shaped engineer-y way... But, I
also consider the Nash Metropolitan a classic piece of design work, so
what the hell do I know.
