P3D Eumig Projector

I have also purchased a used Eumig projector like the one described by
George W. Sholl.  Unfortunately, the projector was damaged during
shipment.  One of the condenser lenses became chipped which led to a
large internal crack.  The crack in turn greatly affected the
illumination.  After a little searching I found a source for parts.
Wilson Mills bought the entire inventory of parts when Eumig went out of
business.  The address is: N. 7653 650th St., Beldenville, WI 54003.
The phone number is 715 273-7799.  Mr. Mills was extremely helpful in
getting my projector in working order.  In addition to selling a
replacement lens for $16, he helped diagnose an electrical problem over
the phone.  The projector can either be set to fade from one slide tray
to the other or have both lamps on at the same time for 3D projection.
One of the lamps would flicker on and off.  He sold me the replacement
triax's and told me how to replace them.  He also has slide trays and
boxes which keep two trays together.

I have not yet tried my hand at projection.  I have a "silver" screen
and have been mounting some Nimslo slide pairs in preparation.  I also
have purchased some polarizing material and viewing glasses.

The projector has a built in adjustment for vertical alignment of the
images.  There is no built in adjustment for horizontal alignment but
once the slides are in place it is possible to adjust either one using
the lever which pushes the slides into the projector.  I will have to
see how this arrangement works.  Since I know how to take the projectors
apart after performing the repairs, I may consider building internal
stops into the mechanism.
