To restate the obvious, my Realist critique was written *for beginners*.
There is no question that a beginner with a Kodak could shoot twice as many
photos as a beginner on a Realist.  Hands down.

How could it be otherwise?  They both have a shutter and a plain advance
knob.  But the Realist user must also press an extra button and cock a
shutter, which the Kodak user does not.  Ignoring the weird ergonomics,
four steps take longer than only two.

Come to think of it, even this rank amateur could shoot a Kodak roll faster
than Dr. T's Realist roll.  How about 5:45pm Saturday, in front of the
Stereo Theatre?  I'll supply the film.
