No, the distance between eyepieces is an interocular.

You know, I'm sorry I brought the whole thing up. This is what I get for
being anal retentive. Well, somebody's got to do it, now that Phil Hartman
is gone... {:-(

Look, let's just drop the pseudoscientific pretense and call these things
"eye spacing" or "lens spacing" or whatever else seems clear. Shoot, I'll
even let "interocular" pass; nobody but me seems to mind, I've only
confused the issue. We can leave the sainthood to the angels above.
