P3D no MIME

Just a reminder - listserv 6.0c does not handle MIME too well
(at least in this version). MIME messages *may* slip
thru on the list itself, but they will definitely be bounced
if MIME is used to send commands to the listserv robot (this is
because the robot does pattern matching on text looking for
commands - MIME introduces all sort of weird and unexpected
content into the message besides just the text).

To be safe you'll need to send in plain ascii text format.
You'd need to turn off any options like "use MIME", "use HTTP" or "use
Quoted Printable".

Unfortunately a lot of Microsoft sofware right now seems to come with
MIME (or http, or QP or whatever) enabled by default. It's worthwhile
to turn that off if you are not SURE that the software on the other end
can handle it.

PS (supposedly listserv6.0d (now in beta) will be able to gracefully
handle mime - I'm going to look at it when I get back to school in a
few weeks).
