P3D Stereo Base - Don't Worry, Shoot Happy

In response to Michael Georgoff's rather lengthy post on stereo base and
where the measurement to the subject starts from, here's the responses I
got:

1) The film plane
2) The front of the lens
3) The middle of the lens

Go figure!

Andrea's solution: Equates to Don't Worry, Shoot Happy. I shoot at least
3 shots from different positions and match the best two. No
measurements, no calculations, no headache.

The question was for the presentation I am showing at the conference. I
wanted *accurate* information for the tech-heads (they never like the
answer "just do it"). So much for *accurate.* Thanks to everyone for
their responses. {:>)

Keep up the list; I want to have some reading material when I get back
from NSA.
