P3D shutter technology

Actually, the venerable self-capping cloth roller blind shutter lives on (for
the indefinate future) in one of the least "modern" (and more expensive) of
currently produced cameras: the Leica M.  
Leica was an early advocate of this shutter type, predating the 35mm SLR (in
fact predating interchangable lenses).
