I will reserve judgement on Xenotech, which some people whose opinions I
normally respect (love ya, Lawrence) have said good things about, but I
really seriously doubt the possibility of effectively converting 2D video
to 3D (other than these pseudo-schemes that simply shift the flat image
"back" a distance behind the surface of the screen). People on this list
like Tony Alderson or Ray Zone or Lincoln Kamm, who convert flat still
images to stereo professionally, can attest to the hours of time and
thousands of subjective decisions that go into converting just one image,
and video runs by at 30 images per second!
