Well, so much for that. My mouth was watering to get the Tripod mounted
slide bar until these folks wrote back telling me the current rate of
exchange is 145 Yen to 1 U.S. dollars.  That means the slide bar I was
eyeballing cost around $1,000.  No, thanks.
