P3D Re: Eumig Projector

There has been some discussion of the Eumig 2x2 stereo Projector.  I 
too found one of these interesting looking units at a thrift store and
picked it up.  I also talked with Susan and David at Reel 3D about it
(and ordered a missing slide carrier for mine).  They used to carry 
the Eumig but stopped because of its reliability problems.  Its 
features and design are really nice, if only it worked better.  It does
not feed the slides smoothly and one of the pair jams almost every
time.  The slides don't always end in the same place (no positive
gate registration) which requires adjustment for each slide.  While
not impossible, it would be very frustrating to put on a show with
these projectors.
