P3D Nimslo wrist strap/chain

Hi!

I've been trying to work the bugs out of my Nimslo setup, and one was
the nasty neck strap I had come up with. I wanted the Nimslo to be easy
and portable like my XA2 (no, not twinned yet!). I started asking for
wrist straps in a camera store. The salesperson came up with a sort of
bulky-looking one. I said not now, thanks. Then a small card caught my
eye--"Pentax Auto 110 Chain Strap." I also been thinking about a measuring
chain for closeups. Voila! (I always say a little prayer of thanks when
something like this happens!)

So now the chain strap fits so nicely into a small soft black case with
the Nimslo--is great for measuring 12 inches--I wrap it around four fingers
and extend it as far as I can. (And I don't have to worry about calculating
the stereobase, which is fixed at 18mm for an adjacent lens pair!)  :-)
The chain will even fit around my neck if need be! It's very nicely made
and finished--clips right onto one of the Nimslo triangular rings.

Of course these aren't made anymore, but you might want to check out your
favorite old-line camera store, swap meet, whatever!

I've ordered some distance and closeup lenses from Oregon--waiting until
they arrive to report--meanwhile +1, +2, +3 using my 49mm rubber band 
adapter!

(And nobody has said--how many attended the convention?)  B*)
