Actually the instant anaglyphs idea will sort of work.

It is a lot like a system that I think was called "Q-View"  it used
the same idea only it was with an slr and it shot onto color film. 
You will have problems if you shoot anything with a high saturation of
blue, green, or red, but it will work.

And with anaglyph there isn't really any thing like psudo stereo since
you can just flip your glasses around!

Give it a shot Bryan and let us know how it comes out.
