P3D Re: NSA Auction ---Stereo Slides???? 2 of 2

Thanks Bill Moll! I said the same thing last time. Here is how I see the
situation: Bill Walton is happy and proud to see his 50 lots selling
for lots of money in this auction. He encourages others to do the same.
But is this appropriate? Do people go to this auction to buy Bill's
images? There are clearly other ways to do it. Bill Walton can have Dalia
or John Saddy auction his images and then contribute the money to NSA.
But, no! It is more fun to be there and see people fight over who
is going to get them! Sounds a bit self-centered to me. Bill does it,
but he is Bill (Bill who?) and now we will have every "Dick and Harry"
do the same thing so we cannot go to bed early on Friday??? (not that
it matters for me... hell I don't go to bed period! :-))

Yes. Here is what I propose: Creators and sellers of images like Bill
Walton, Boris, etc. can 1) donate images to NSA to sell *at fixed prices*
at the convention (via tables staffed by volunteers) or 2) sell images
in their own tables (the makers) and give NSA a fixed percentage (say
10%) I would be willing to give a 10% of my sales at the convention
to NSA.

Same deal! Donate them to NSA or have them sold for a fixed price. Have
NSA tables at the trade show. Have viewers for preview.

Have a few viewers in tripods (like Golden's). That's not a problem.
Have a bunch or Radex's around. I know Golden is selling the viewers but
I could have bought a few of the images used to demonstrate the viewers!!!
That's the next thing. Everyone will be selling images. Instead of
"trading money" in these conventions, we can trade images!
