P3D Autochromes
>>RE: Someone said pan film not available to about 1929...maybe in

This process was called Autochrome. Not very good, especially in stereo.
Currently I have a few examples of stereo Autochromes, but they are larger
than a standard stereo slide. Sure wish I could see them in stereo with a
better viewer.
FYI: The plates were made by mixing dyed starch grains that have been
sorted for uniformity, and applied to a glass plate. Rollers were used to
insure good contact. A dusting of black material - coal dust as I recall,
was applied to fill in the gaps between the grains.
