P3D Re: DrT's Lectures on Stereo Photography

Thanks Paul! Actually this series carries the very modest title:
"A tutorial on the "Mechanics" of Stereo Photography"
And here is how the introduction goes at this point:
"This the first installment on a series of articles on Stereo
Photography. The emphasis is on the mechanics of recording stereo
pictures.
There are two aspects of photography: Art and Mechanics. Good
mechanics allow the photographer to record a sharp and well-exposed
photograph. But it can be a very boring photograph! "Art"
(composition, message, etc.) is how to make the photographs
interesting, not just for the maker but for others as well.
There are a few good references on the "art" aspect of (stereo)
photography and certainly a need for education, but this series of
articles will focus exclusively on the mechanics of stereo
photography. The technical challenges and controls on a camera that,
if understood and used correctly, will yield technically acceptable
stereo pictures."
No controversy. Just a modest tutorial.
