P3D Hand built 35MM Stereo Cameras

I am curious, several people on the list modify pairs of cameras to make a
stereo camera, but I am curious...has anyone on this list built an honest
to goodness, 35MM stereo camera from the ground up? And I do not mean
combining cameras, nor do I mean cameras like the RBTs. There is a group of
people on a Camera Maker's Mail List, but they build Pan Cameras and such.
How about you Stereo Photographers out there? and Pinhole Stereo Cameras do
not count!
